Press Release: Fake Police, NYSC Uniforms Being Sewn In Awka Government House

We have incontrovertible information that a batch of able-bodied young men between the ages of 23 and 29 have been assembled in a town in Anambra Central Senatorial District by the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), using their members serving in Anambra State government, with the aim of posing as fake policemen and National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members to compromise the integrity of the November 16, 2013 elections in favor of APGA.


This evil project which code-name is also known to our gallant Intelligence operatives is being coordinated by a State Commissioner in Anambra State Government with a double role in the Campaign Organisation of the APGA candidate in the gubernatorial race.

This exercise is being undertaken in conjunction with some key, but unpatriotic members of the Nigerian Police Force in Anambra State Command and beyond, outside as well as in Anambra State command of the NYSC.

As you read this a batch of uniforms is being sown in the Government Lounge at Amawbia, under the cover of the executive governor of the state, Mr. Peter Obi. The recipients of the uniforms will assume the character and appearance of real policemen and NYSC members, against November 16, 2013 elections, particularly in Idemili North and South Local Government areas.

NGIGE 2014 is in possession of further details which we are strategically putting at the disposal of the relevant local, national and international agencies connected with the process of elections, and would not hesitate to unveil more to the public as it becomes strategically advisable.

We take this chance to warn the governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi to step out of this sordid act that is achieving the opposite of his duty by clothing Anambra State in a negative image .this is only one in many desperate steps being taken by his government and political party in the last couple of weeks.

Along the same line we call the attention of the Inspector General of Police to re-enforce Police intelligence on Anambra State with a view to routing this evil plan to place fake police uniforms on the street, which unfortunately enjoys executive cover.

We equally plead with the Director General of the NYSC to take every step to distinguish the disciplined and morally upright genuine corp. members from the fake ones whose uniforms are being sown in Amawbia now.

Our campaign organisation and indeed the All Progressive Congress (APC),our popular and formidable platform once again reassure overwhelming supporters, Ndi Anambra and the Nation that we are determined to checkmate each of the numerous rigging plans by APGA, most of which are on our radar.
