Elrufai Reacts to Gov Obi’s Comment, Says He’s A Clown



Interim Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described Governor Peter Obi of Anambra state as a clown who believes that Nigerians cannot be in his own state on Election Day.


The former FCT minister was reacting to the statement made by Governor Peter Obi asking that Elrufai be bundle back to his home state as he has no business been in Anambra state having hailed from Kaduna state.

Elrufai who took to his twitter handle after to condemn his restriction by the operatives of the State Security Service in a hotel room in Awka where he was detained also used the opportunity to speak on happenings at the APC situation room.

When asked on twitter if he thinks the people of Anambra are fools for allowing him to leave safely, he directed the jab at the state governor, Peter Obi.

Diaspora votes must count in Nigeria. This is my position/opinion. If not because of the dubious nature of the officials in the government of Nigeria, one does not see any reason why Nigerians in Diaspora shouldn’t be voting as done in most countries of the world. Their votes would have been making a great difference, and give them a sense of belonging and participation in the affairs of the nation.
