Pieces of the puzzle seem to be falling into place. The opposition party is now running after the G7 to woo them into their party resulting to waste of precious time needed to consolidate its agenda. The opposition has now abandoned their plans running up and down thinking they will woo the G7 and other AWOL PDP members. Thus, by the time the opposition realises it, a lot of water has gone down the bridge. By that time, there will be too little time to start strategising against the PDP. And then, the old plugs will win again!


Therefore, common sense dictates to me that these guys are up to something. The PDP family knows the implication of losing the allegiance of seven states. These states are not just ordinary states but some of the largest cities in the country. It is a disaster to lose Kano, Rivers, Sokoto, Yola, Kwara and Niger states to opposition. Even if Jigawa is not of the bigger ones, losing it will spell one down for the PDP. If my scepticism is actually correct, then this party has once again pooled the wool over our eyes. What evil geniuses; great mafias popping champagne at our gullibility!

However if the present crises is not just a fictional movie, then, one could really say God has finally answered our prayers for PDP shall not survive this.  And why would not the G7 succeed bearing in mind that state Governors are  Chief Executives of their states to whom majority of state political structures are directly answerable to! From the INEC officer posted to his state down to the ad-hoc staff that will be employed during elections mostly dance to the Governor’s music. Local Government Chairmen are his boys leaving little room for the President or his assumed loyalist to wrestle power away from a seating Governor. Little wonder that whenever State Governors revolt, the Presidency catches fever. No wonder the PDP did all it could to neutralise the powers of the Governors’ forum. Anyway, let us keep our fingers crossed and hope these guy do not beat us with their gimmicks once again. Lets keep hope alive as we relentlessly execute a winning strategy that will usher in a Government we will call our own.
