Gunmen Attack Mark's Convoy in Imo

The convoy of Senate President David Mark was friday attacked in Orlu area of Imo State on his way to the burial ceremony of a late business mogul, Sir John Richard Anyaehie, in Nkwerre Community.
According to Mark's Chief Press Secretary, Paul Mumeh, the gunmen suspected to be armed robbers shot the convoy but Mark was not in it neither was any life lost in the incident.
An online medium, 247ureport.com, said Mark lamented the incident, saying such act was not expected in a notable senatorial zone like Orlu, moreso, at the time that a great philanthropist like Anyaehie was being buried.

Diaspora votes must count in Nigeria. This is my position/opinion. If not because of the dubious nature of the officials in the government of Nigeria, one does not see any reason why Nigerians in Diaspora shouldn’t be voting as done in most countries of the world. Their votes would have been making a great difference, and give them a sense of belonging and participation in the affairs of the nation.
