Goodluck Jonathan: A Reckless and Insensitive Leader; By Frank Ijege

Goodluck Jonathan is insensitive, inexperienced and remains unfit to serve as President. No sane leader will continue with any useless political rally 24 hours after hundreds of people, innocent and harmless, were bombed and killed in cold blood.
A responsible leader would have cancelled any political engagement out of respect for the dead and in appreciation of the present security challenges call an emergency meeting of our security outfits and seek ways of ending this madness. How can you as a president sleep comfortably at night when under your presidency close to 5000 people have been killed, and I am not exaggerating; let alone dancing and even calling opposition politicians names less than 48 hours after human being like you are killed?
If we all feel Olisa Metuh, the publicity secretary of the PDP is reckless and irresponsible, then we are wrong. Because this President is more reckless and far irresponsible than Olisa is, and I dare say it has become a common feature of the PDP, a bunch of reckless and irresponsible people running this country aground.
By this odious and stinking attitude of the president, it shows he is still labouring, and struggling to learn to ropes of a true leader. The sad truth is that after four years, he still has not learnt anything. And his recent conduct shows a clear disrespect for Nigerians and the family of the dead and injured. I am not placing the blame for these security challenges at his door step, but he take a large portion of the blame. We cannot keep managing a president who is struggling to learn the ropes. We need an active and proactive leader. This of course is a choice for Nigerians to make. God bless Nigeria
