Among the 21 Borno Commissioners, 16 were reported to have either gone to Abuja or sent representatives for the same purpose as the other APC stakeholders.
A close associate of the Borno Governor, Kashim Shettima, who did not want his name in print also reportedly, confirmed that the governor is in serious dilemma with the news that some of his most trusted allies are turning the table against him with their recent visit to Abuja.

According to the source, they told the Governor that they were not angry with him, but that they chose to stay away from the Government House because they were getting tired of politics.
However, they were reported to have indicated interest in the new PDP structure to be formed by the former Governor Sheriff after the Ramadan fast.
