El-Rufai Loses Son in Car Accident

Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir Elrufai, has lost one of his sons, Hamza Elrufai, in a motor accident.
Hamza El-Rufai died in a car accident that occurred few hours ago (Tuesday). It is however not immediately known where the crash occurred.

The father of the deceased broke the news on his faceboook page at about 8:00 am Tuesday morning.
The post read thus: “From Allah we came and to Him we shall return. Please join our family in praying for the repose of the soul of my son Hamza El-Rufai who died this morning in a motor accident in Abuja.”
Similarly, the brother of the deceased, Bello El-Rufai posted “Inna Lilahi Waina Lilahi Rajiun” on Twitter this handle an hour ago.
The recitation is a common pronouncement made by Muslims on hearing the news of death. It means, ‘From Allah we have come and unto HIM we shall return’.
It would be recalled that On November 26 2014, Yasmine, eldest daughter of the ex-BPE boss, passed away suddenly in her London apartment after a reported neurological attack.
Yasmine held a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Bath, UK and a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics (LSE). She also had a law Degree from the University of London.
In October 2013, El-Rufai’s immediate brother, Ibrahim and his nephew Lawal Sani-Gwandu were also killed in a car crash.
