2015: Labaran Maku Vows to Chase Governor Al-Makura out of Office






Minister of Information, Labaran Maku has vowed to chase out the incumbent governor of Nasarawa State, Governor Tanko Al-Makura and the incumbent governor from office and assume the mantle of leadership in 2015.

The Minister who addressed his supporters from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in meeting he had with Eggon Political Elders Forum in Endehu, Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Area. The Chairman of the Eggon Leaders noted that they organized the meeting to declare support for President Goodluck Jonathan and Labaran Maku ambition. According to the image maker, the All Progressive Congress (APC) will soon be a party of the past in the state, as they will be voted out.
According to him, the APC had a glimpse of what will happen during the last local government election when they slugged it out and won some councils.
“This was evident during the last Local Governments election in the state where PDP won 11 out of t13 LGAs before the result was changed by the state electoral body. Even though that election was organized by APC government, PDP was declared winner in four local governments, in addition to so many Councilors apart from the seven that was snatched from the PDP. This is the first time in this country where in an election organised by the state electoral body and opposition party will win some LGA.
