Dissecting the Blackmails against Tinubu, Buhari and Osibajo By Comrade AbdulRahman Agboola

An Africa adage says if the oppressed does not struggle vehemently to break the bondage of oppression and escape the wreck of the oppressor, the oppressor will never willingly cease oppressing. In Nigeria context, the power is concentrated at the center which places the onus of responsibility in the hands of the President to dictate the cause of activities in conformity with the dictates of our Nigeria Constitution.

In real essence, the clamor for change by the masses is least expected to be achieved on a platter of gold, as the vagabonds in power are not relenting in their divisive actions to sustain their reign at the expense of public goods. The looters and profiteers are guilty of wreaking havoc on the economy, propagating of corrupt practices by surrounding the corridors of power with ex-convicts and shenanigans.
The rate of poverty and insecurity are at the peak while the standard of education has fallen to zero. The political space is more for the ruthless than technocrats, policies are made to favour the ruling class while the masses are treated like beggars with aids offered for political gains. The rights to expression are abused with deceitful statements, propaganda and blackmails by divisive agents disintegrating the Country along tribal and religious partitioning.
Some beneficiaries of the present administration have alleged us of outright condemnation of the transformation agenda of President Jonathan without proving the odds beyond reasonable doubt, although their allegations are mere poor defense acts and self-serving but to clear there doubt, it is imperative to state without fear of contradiction that the transformation agenda of President Jonathan is a sham on these authorities: The pump price of petrol was 65naira which was increased to 97naira on the flimsy excuse of subsidy fraud, yet no one is convicted for the fraud alleged by government. The unjust devaluation of naira and the expensive cost of products have brought untold hardship to the masses. The rate of corruption in public service especially the Police Force that extort motorist openly while the unprecedented level of lawlessness in Nigeria, where every dick and harry is armed with unlicensed firearms and ammunitions is an attestation of misfortune on the Country.
President Jonathan is enjoying the proud support of some confused religious bigots, ethnic jingoist, fraudulent mercenaries and profiteers of his administration. These retrogressive elements are leaving no stone unturned in their barbaric assaults and blackmails against the personalities of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, General Muhammad Buhari and Professor Yemi Osibajo who represents symbol of hope and change to the masses. At the formation of the opposition party All Progressive Congress, they labeled the party an Islamic Party to subdue to strength of the party and evoke wrath of the Christians against the party but today the party has presented one of the finest Christian in Nigeria as the running mate to the Presidential Flag bearer.
Professor Osibajo is a leading Constitutional Lawyer in Nigeria with wealth of experience in rule of law, principles of governance and legal regulations couple with his expertise of economic policies. The antecedents of General Muhammad Buhari are too glaring for reasonable people to be brainwashed by the agents of dooms blackmailing his untainted personality. The duo of Buhari and Osibajo possess the good conscience and courage needed to solve the palpable problems confronting this Country to the benefit of the masses.
The masses are indulged to be wary of the antics of the beneficiaries of Jonathan administration who are imploring all crooked means to blackmail the true agent of progress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is at the center of their attacks. Little did the masses know that the struggle for the enthronement of democracy in 1999 facilitated by the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) wouldn’t have been successful without the financial support of Bola Tinubu who sponsored most of the struggle of NADECO.
As a member of the National Assembly in 1993, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the duo of Senator Sunday Awoniyi and Senator Aloyius Ayu were the vocal voice against the annulment of the June 12, 1993 Election at the Senate which led to the formation of NADECO. The dreaded Abacha Government was fought to a standstill by NADECO and the attempt of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to turn Nigeria to a One-Party State was forestalled by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu between 2003 and 2007.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tiubu has practically sustained opposition party in Nigeria along with his patriotic followers and partners. The giant strides of Governors Fashola, Aregbesola, Oshiomole, Mimiko, Fayemi, Amosun, Ajimobi in their respective States is premised on the platform that availed them the opportunities. Though we can’t rule out minor flaws in the opposition party as well but the overall good of APC overrides the minor flaws.
The recent attempt by some derailed associates of NANS blackmailing Tinubu and Osibajo is a sign of intellectual malady among NANS Leaders who twist facts to suit their paymasters. In the good era of NANS where the leaders were dedicated to selfless service, the NANS Cadres hold Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in highest esteem for his unalloyed support to NANS Struggles, an attestation of this fact is the proud association of the notable Former NANS Leaders like Opeyemi Bamidele, Dele Alake, Kayode Fayemi, Segun Mayegun, Ayo Adewale and many more with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The struggle for the change of government at the Federal Level will not be achieved with the PDP agents and cronies folding their arms, they are prepared at all fronts not to let go of power, but we must endure their antics and machinations by turning deaf ears to their blackmails against APC Leaders and the Party. If we must succeed with the New Nigeria Project offered by APC, we must be resist all blackmails and propaganda of PDP ruling Federal Government and collectively commit our energy and resources to the successful conduct and victory of APC at the 2015 Presidential Election.

We cannot continue in sin and expect blessing to multiply, the 16years of PDP has offered the Country nothing but misfortune and we must accept the fact that there is no other time than now to rescue our dear Country from the misrule of PDP.
