In Honour Of @DeleMomodu: The Man Who Saw Tomorrow By Eneh John

“The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership.”-Harvey Firestone

Nigeria’s Legendary Writer,Publisher and Leader,Dele Momodu has in different ways impacted in the lives of millions of youths in Nigeria and beyond through his weekly edition of pendulum.

With his love for leadership and his quest to see a better Nigeria, Momodu has used every opportunity to right the wrongs in our society.

The publisher of Ovation Magazine, who once contested for the Nation’s top job in 2011,has in different ways advised the Jonathan’s administration in his service to Nigerians.

Dele Momodu had forseen the Buhari’s victory, when he enlightened Nigerians on the need to have the General on the driving seat of the Nation.

What many could not see in Buhari, Momodu had swung his pendulum to him, rebranding the General as a finished product and sold the idea to Nigerians.

Our very respected writer,an enigma of excellence,a role model.

Words may fail me to describe Dele Momodu, who has been a role model to me and a Leader.

It is my desire and the wish of Nigerians,to present this man to the people’s General, to consider him as our Minister of Culture and Tourism.

Men like Dele Momodu are too rare to come by.

It was Zig Ziglar who said,”You will always have everything in life you want if you will help enough others get what they want.”

My only meeting with Momodu was in 2011,in Uyo,Akwa Ibom State.

This is one man who has contributed immensely to the growth of Nigeria.

This is the man who will sit to see the affairs of tomorrow in any administration and forewarn them.

The day you refuse to hearken to the voice of reasoning from Dele Momodu is the day the brick walls of your administration begins to manifest.

What more can I say about this fine gentleman who has not allowed his achievements to overwhelm his leadership traits.

Dele Momodu has inspired many to become all they are capable of becoming.

He has built a reputation for himself over the years, with a large followership.

The Bible records in the book of proverbs 22:29,”Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings;he shall not stand before mean men.” That is where Momodu belongs.
He has continued to stand before great Kings.

Distinguished men and ladies in our beloved country Nigeria, please rise and raise a voice for Dele Momodu as the next Minister of Culture and Tourism, for it is our belief that he has served this country and deserves more than the honour.

Nigeria needs men like Momodu who can stir the sheep with Buhari.

Men who understands that there exist the masses on whose strength power is derived.

My Dear President-elect,today, what many could not see in you sir, Dele Momodu saw it.

He kept the faith.
Even when he didn’t belong to the All Progressives Congress(APC)

It is my singular privilege to be mentored by Dele Momodu.

He has carved a niche for himself.

With or without government patronage and position, your stars continue to shine on many.

To the many youths who has been touched by my mentor through his writings,be steadfast and be determined in success through his teachings.

Leo Aguila said, “Those who wants to succeed will find a way, those who don’t want will find an excuse.”

Thank you Dele Momodu, for touching our lives in little measures of grace God has given you.

You are honoured today.

Your works keep speaking for you even when you don’t know the people you touch.

Ride on Leader!

A REPUTATION FOUNDED ON INTEGRITY MUST BE NURTURED BY TRUTH.
