Buhari Should Be Held Responsible For Boko Haram Massacre Of Troops By Anayo Onyemgbajiaka

We must continue to write about the reckless killings of Nigerian troops in large numbers by Boko Haram until the government of President Muhammadu Buhari does the needful and end the insurgency in the North-East.

You will recall that in the past, during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, it was this same Mr Buhari who was shouting on top of his voice that the attack on Boko haram was attack on the entire Northern Nigeria.

Without mincing words, I am saying that Buhari’s political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. We don’t want dogs and baboons to be consistently soaked with blood.

The Terrorist group also named him as their spokesman in the aborted negotiations with the former president Good luck Jonathan’s administration.

The handwriting was clearly written on the wall for everybody to see,  like the biblical MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

One thing is clear. The Terrorist group could not name or appoint a total stranger to be their spokesman. They must appoint somebody they trust to defend their interests. Perhaps, one of their patron or chief sponsor.

Therefore, it won’t be out of order, if we logically state that the leadership of the Boko Haram knew and trusted Mr Buhari hence they nominated him to represent them.

This means that Mr Buhari equally knew the leadership of the Boko haram and perhaps believed in their cause at least, to some extent.

Question is/are: what is the cause(s) the terrorists’ group believed in?

BOKO HARAM simply means that book is prohibited. Literally, it means that western education is prohibited.

The organisation which was originally formed by the northern leaders to molest the administration of former president Good luck Jonathan, who happened to come from the South- South geo-political zone, is now the most deadly terrorists in the world.

Goodluck Jonathan is no longer in power and Mr Buhari who happened to be the major critics of the past administration’s fight against Boko Haram is NOW the president of Nigeria.

He swore to protect the lives and properties of the citizens as was enshrined in the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

As the chief security officer of the country, a retired military General and Mr president, It’s a shame that his acclaimed wealth of experience in wars were only a lip service.

We had expected that Buhari would demonstrate his wealth of experience as a military General on the bodies of those blood-thirsty Boko haram.

We have also expected that the chief of army staff General Buratai, who happened to come from the North East, would frown seriously on the continuous slaughter of his kits and kins.

He was also expected to be more proactive and prevent the reckless killings of his colleagues in the army.

General Buratai’s only known achievements so far, was the formation of the OPERATION PYTHON DANCE.

The python that cannot dance in the Sambisa forest on the bodies of Boko Haram terrorist group, but would become Arnold Schwarzenegger on the bodies of unarmed innocent IPOB members and Shiite Muslims!

A python who could not defend their military base  from the invasion of the Boko Haram but will bath the ordinary unarmed protesters on the streets with bullets!

This is not a laughing matter at all. This is serious business and totally unacceptable.

Despite billions of Naira being spent on security, yet these terrorists always have their way. The government must go back to drawing board and end this menace.

Buhari must be held responsible for the gruesome and cruel killings of Nigerian troops in large numbers by Boko Haram because he swore with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, during his swearing-in ceremony at Eagle’s square Abuja, to protect the lives and properties of the citizenry.
